BECTA FORTE (Cefoperazone + Sulbactam)

Bectaforte is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is one of few cephalosporin antibiotics effective in treating Pseudomonas bacterial infections which are otherwise resistant to these antibiotics. Bectaforte is an antibiotic medicine which comes in the form of a vial containing efoperazone sodium and sulbactam sodium. It is used in the treatment of respiratory tract infections (Upper and Lower), urinary tract infections, (Upper and Lower) intra-abdominal infections septicemia (blood poisoning caused by bacteria/bacterial toxins), meningitis skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, Gonorrhea, and other infections of the genital tract.
